(Psa 106:23) Therefore he said he would destroy them-- had not Moses, his chosen one, stood in the breach before him, to turn away his wrath from destroying them.
(Psa 106:30) Then Phinehas stood up and intervened, and the plague was stayed.
(Psa 106:34-36) They did not destroy the peoples, as the LORD commanded them,
but they mixed with the nations and learned to do as they did.
They served their idols, which became a snare to them.
(Psa 106:41) he gave them into the hand of the nations, so that those who hated them ruled over them.
(Psa 106:43) Many times he delivered them, but they were rebellious in their purposes and were brought low through their iniquity.
(Psa 106:47) Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.
Three times in chapter 106 of psalm David tells us how God's people had diobeyed. Two times he gives the acount of the person who "stood in the gap" so that God would spare them, however the 3rd situation David himself is standing in the gap.
In many many ways the modern church has left its roots, its foundation, the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ and him Crucified. So who will stand in the gap. Who will get on there face and beg God's forgiveness because we have not been doing what the Church was ment to do? Who will get so much of God's Spirit in them that they have anguish over the lost or that they get so tired of the false Gospels being preached in our churches that they actualy get of the pew and do something. Thousands of people sitting in so called Christian churches are on there way straite to hell because they dont know Jesus.
I asked the question earlier "who?" I want You to ask yourself the following questions.
1. If not me who?
2. If not now when?
The clock is ticking people are dieing. tick ...tick...???
